PHASE 1 - Initial Connection in Preparation for Bootstrap Slave
First, before SL.EXE is actually transferred, a 'bootstrap slave' will be sent to the old PC.
FastLynx 3.3 doesn't just bindly send the 'bootstrap slave' to the old PC - it appears to do some kind of checking.
At this point, what is seen is seen on the two PCs is:

PHASE 2 - Transfer of Bootstrap Slave
When FastLynx 3.3 on the newer PC is 'happy' about the situation, it starts sending the 'bootstrap slave' to the old PC.

PHASE 3 - Connection Attempt Between FastLynx 3.3 and Bootstrap Slave
When the 'bootstrap slave' transfer is complete, FastLynx 3.3 (newer PC) and its 'bootstrap slave' (old PC) attempt to establish a connection.

PHASE 4 - Transfer of DOS Slave, SL.EXE
When a connection is established, the 'bootstrap slave' displays "Connection established." on the old PC.
Then, SL.EXE itself is transferred to the old PC.
