FILE TRANSFERS AT 19200 BAUD

• Desktop To Model "T"

Did you know you could successfully transfer files to and from an open .DO file at 19200 baud? You're really going to like this one. Transferring files between a DOS or Mac to and from an open .DO file in a Model "T" at 19200 baud is pretty cool. Here goes...

Model "T" To Desktop

1. Using a null-modem cable, connect your DOS or Mac to your Model 100/102/200.
2. Put the DOS or Mac into terminal mode, using a communications program, at 19200 baud, and open a capture file.
3. Go into the .DO file on the Model "T".
4. Tap your <f3> function key, type in COM:98N1E and hit <enter>.

The file will transfer from your Model "T" to your DOS or Mac at 19200 baud.

Desktop To Model "T"

1. Same as above.
2. Same as above but don't open a capture file.
3. From the Model "T" menu, enter TEXT, name a file <enter>.
4. Tap your <f2> function key, type in COM:98N1E and hit <enter>.
5. Send the file from your DOS or Mac.
6. After the file sends, issue a <ctrl>Z from your DOS or Mac to give your Model "T" an EOF (end of file).

Note: Model 200 users add NN to the STAT string in all of the examples.
