TOSS -- Tandy On-Line System Support Faxback Doc.# 9001 What Is It? Tandy On-Line System Support (TOSS) is a subscription service you can call for system maintenance or help with a problem. TOSS is ideal for the serious computer user who needs quick and easy access to a system engineer without costly consulting expense. When necessary, the TOSS Certified System Engineer will log on to your computer system, perform maintenance tasks and solve operating system or software problems. What Are Its Advantages? No Waiting You won't be waiting for hours or days with a down system while the consultant "fits you into their schedule." You can expect TOSS to return your call within fifteen minutes. Financial Safeguard When TOSS is used in conjunction with a Tandy Service Plan (TSP), you are protected from essentially all unexpected costly system repairs. Total Security You control the access password to your system. When a problem arises, you advise us of the password so we can enter the system. Once TOSS is finished, you change the password for total security. Total System Diagnostics At each instance of service, we will perform a complete remote evaluation of your system's integrity, including a virus scan. This feature can be requested at any time whether or not service is required. Fix Operating System and Supported Application Software Problems TOSS experts will identify the problem, analyze possible solutions, and make necessary corrections to your system. Complete System Analysis Each month your own TOSS engineer will prepare a complete system analysis for you. Potential problems can be spotted before they become costly. How Does It Work? When a problem arises, you simply call us with the problem and we can fix it. TOSS is staffed by Certified System Engineers from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm (Central time, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays) for your exclusive use. Extended hours (24 hours a day, 7 days a week) are available at additional charge. You may call as often as necessary for answers pertaining to the administration of your system. TOSS supports any operating system sold by Radio Shack, any 25 series software or 90 series RealWorld accounting software sold by Radio Shack, and other approved software listed on the TOSS agreement.
