The Duophone Outgoing Call Restrictor lets you prevent unauthorized
calls from your telephone.  You can quickly install the restrictor to
protect you from unwanted calls to toll-charge areas, pay-per-call
services, or specific phone numbers.  A built-in microprocessor makes
it easy to program and use the restrictor.

The restrictor also has these advanced features:

FULLY PROGRAMMABLE _ lets you change the restrictions from any touch
tone phone on the same line.

SMART FACTORY SETTINGS - give the most frequently needed options
programmed at the factory, so you might not have to do any programming
to use the restrictor.

NONVOLATILE MEMORY - prevents the restrictor from losing programmed
restrictions if it loses power and the backup battery is dead or not
installed.

PASSWORD PROTECTION - prevents unauthorized persons from changing or
disabling the restrictor's settings.

BATTERY BACKUP - powers the restrictor during power failures.

BATTERY ALERT TONE - alerts you to replace the restrictors battery.


Notes:  Area codes ending in "0" will not work properly without a fix
from the vendor. Contact John Passander at 203-865-2834 for the fix.

Also when hitting the off-hook switch rapidly this can cause an
override to occur, which disables the restrictor from working properly.

Requires two 9 volt batteries.
