PREPARING YOUR PRINTER

WARNINGS:

Do not touch the drum surface.  Wrap the drum unit in a soft cloth to
protect the drum from light exposure.

Do not touch or damage the drum surface and magnet roller.  Damage to or
dirt on these parts will result in poor print quality.  The drum cannot
be cleaned.

Do not expose the developer unit to hair or dust, which might prevent
proper toner delivery.

Before you install the 2nd Bin Sheet Feeder, you need to prepare your
printer as follows:

1. Turn off the printer's power.  Then, disconnect the power cord and the
   interface cable.

2. Remove the printer's multi-paper cassette.

3. Press the release latch to open the printer's top cover.

4. Grasp the developer block's green handles and lift out the developer
   block.  Then, remove the drum container and cleaning pad.

5. Close the printer's cover.

UNPACKING THE 2ND BIN SHEET FEEDER

After you prepare the printer, unpack the 2nd Bin Sheet Feeder and check
to see that all the necessary parts are included.  If you find that
something is missing or damaged, contact your local Radio Shack store.

1. Lift the 2nd Bin Sheet Feeder from the carton and carefully remove the
   packing materials.

2. Pull out the paper cassette and carefully remove the packing
   materials.

3. Verify that the following items are present:

   2nd Bin Sheet Feeder

   Paper Cassette

   4 Screws
