Follow these steps to set up WordPerfect 5.0 or 5.1 to run in full-page 
mode.

1.  Install WordPerfect for VGA operation and be sure it is working pro-
    perly.
2.  Follow the instructions in the WordPerfect instruction manual to enter
    these color selections for both Doc 1 and Doc 2 and exit to DOS:

      Attribute      Foreground     Background

      Normal             H              A
      Blocked            H              E
      Underline          B              A
      Bold               P              A

Note: Underline appears totally black until you complete this procedure.

3.  For WordPerfect 5.0, copy FULL-PAGE.WPD from the DRIVERS disk to the
    WordPerfect directory. For WordPerfect 5.1, copy FULL-PAGE.VRS
4.  Set the monitor for WordPerfect full-page mode by typing:

     fp wordp   <ENTER>

5.  Make the directory containing the WordPerfect files the active 
    directory.
6.  Type:  wp    <ENTER>
7.  Press <SHIFT><F1> to enter WordPerfect Setup.
8.  Select Display from this menu.
9.  Select Graphics Screen Type.
10. Select FullPage Monitor and press <ENTER> once if configuring Word-
    Perfect 5.0 or twice if configuring WordPerfect 5.1.
11. Select Colors/Fonts/Attributes.
12. Press 2 for Fast Text and type Y.
13. Press 1 for Screen Colors.
14. Enter your choices for all colors except Normal, Blocked, Underline, 
    and Bold.
15. Press <SHIFT><F3> to switch to document 2.
16. Press <CTRL><F4> and then <Y> to copy the colors for document 1 to
    document 2.
17. Now adjust any colors you wish for document 2, but do not change the
    selections for Underline, or underline will not show on the screen as
    underline, but as a shade of gray.
18. When you complete color selection, press <F7> to exit.
19. Press <F7> to exit the setup menu.
20. Press <F7> again to exit WordPerfect.
21. Press <N> to exit without saving the document.
22. Press <Y> to exit WordPerfect. The new color choices and graphics 
    screen are now default settings for using WordPerfect in full-page 
    mode. To run WordPerfect in full-page mode, type the following:

     fp wordp   <ENTER>
     wp filename  <ENTER>

Wordperfect 5.0 and 5.1 Legal Mode:

The VGM-150 can display the text of 8 1/2 x 14-inch (legal-size), double-
spaced page by compressing the spaces between rows. Note that this mode 
does not support page preview.

1.  Make the WordPerfect directory the active directory.
2.  Set the monitor to the WordPerfect legal mode by typing:

     fp wplegal    <ENTER>

3.  Type: wp /ss-73,80 <ENTER> to enter WordPerfect with 73 rows and 80
    columns.
4.  Press: <SHIFT><F8> to enter WordPerfect format.
5.  Make the choices to set the line spacing to 2, and press <ENTER> twice 
    to return to format.
6.  Press 2 for Page, make the choices to select legal-size paper (8 1/2 x
    14-inches), and press <ENTER> twice to return to WordPerfect.

WordPerfect is now configured for fullpage legal operation. To run Word-
Perfect in fullpage legal mode, type:

    fp wplegal    <ENTER>
    wp /ss-73,80 filename /m-macroname    <ENTER>

You can include Steps 4-6 in a macro, and substitute the name of the macro 
for macroname, so selection of legal size paper and double-space is 
automatic.
