The hard disk controller board manages the activity of your hard drive(s)
with minimal demand to the computer's central processing activities. This
internal option board allows you to add up to two hard drives to your 
system.

To ensure expert installation, we recommend that you have Radio Shack
service technicians install the controller board and the additional hard
drive kit(s).  The technicians can then check the rest of your system.

If you decide to install the controller board yourself, read the following
procedures before you begin. Then, follow all of the steps carefully.

Because static electricity can destroy integrated circuits, be sure to
discharge any accumulated static electricity by touching a grounded metal
object before you touch the controller board, the additional hard drive(s),
or any of the computer's PC boards.

NOTE: Be sure to install your hard drives first.

If you need help storing and accessing programs on hard disk, refer to your
Operating System and Applications manuals.
