RETURNING TO FACTORY SETTINGS

Follow these steps to return to the factory menu settings.

1. Press ONLINE so that the printer's ONLINE indicator turns off.

2. Press and hold down ENTER/MENU RESET until MENU RESET appears on the
   display.

NOTES:

* This procedure clears any downloaded fonts.

* This procedure clears the printer's buffer.

* This procedure does not reset the following menu items. You must manually
  change these settings:

   Configuration menu items
   --Interface type
   --Symbol set
   --Language
   --Timing

   Printing menu item
   --Manual-feed paper size
