This computer has video support built into it; simply connect a color or
monochrome monitor to the computer. The color video is compatible with 
industry standard Color Graphics Adapter (CGA) boards and supports text and 
graphics in as many as 16 colors and provides resolutions as high as 
640 x 200 pixels. The monochrome video is compatible with industry standard Monochrome Display Adapter (MDA) boards and the Hercules video adapter. It 
supports text in resolutions as high as 720 x 348 pixels.

Changing the Video Display:

You can toggle your computer between color and monochrome monitor from the 
keyboard; if the screen is blank when you start your computer, press 
CTRL-ALT-SHIFT-V to change to the appropriate video display for your monitor.

Possible Video Problems:

NO IMAGE:      Be sure that the monitor is turned on and the cables are
               properly connected.
   
               Restart the computer using the CTRL-ALT-SHIFT-V key
               sequence.  (Press V while holding down the other keys.)

SCREEN ROLLS:  Another device (such as a hard disk card) might be trying
               to use the same interrupt (5).  Change the interrupt
               setting of the conflicting device.
 
               Make sure the brightness and contrast controls on the
               monitor are properly adjusted.
 
Note: The Tandy 1000 SL/2 video interface circuitry controls 128k of video 
memory. This DRAM is shared by the CPU and the video. Normally, the video 
requires only 16k or 64k for the video screen, and the remainder of the 128k 
is available for the system memory use.
