CompuServe discontinued their SWREG service in 1999 and the replacement service did not prove as reliable as its predecessor. For this reason, I decided to offer another registration path --VR (or FCL) can now be registered by buying yourself a book (any book will do, provided you do so via the Amazon.com link on the Web page mentioned above). The Web page has the details of the deal as well as a few additional suggestions for actual books to get, based on my personal favorites.
