Dawes Potter was born in Mason City, Iowa in 1922. He now lives in White Plains, New York and teaches math, computers and ancient Greek at nearby Scarsdale High School. Dawes is married and has a son, a daughter, and two step-sons. His e-mail address is dawesp@aol.com.
