A-Trend
A-Trend was a Taiwanese manufacturer of motherboards, graphics and sound cards for the IBM PC and its compatibles during the late DOS era.
Most well-known for their motherboards, they also produced graphics cards and sound cards from 1994 with a couple of audio offerings based on the Yamaha OPL3-SA chip, as well as Tseng Labs, S3 and 3dfx graphics cards.
Motherboards
A-Trend's motherboards are grouped into model ranges based on their chipset, with the first number denoting the chipset and the subsequent numbers denoting further differences on the board:

This appears to be a decent Super Socket 7 board, supporting 100 MHz FSB, has 512 KB of L2 cache onboard though the MVP3 chipset only has capacity to cache the first 128 MB of main memory.
CPU support for this fairly late Super 7 mobo is as you would expect, with AMD K6 and K6-2 being the most popular at the time, though it also caters for Intel Pentium MMX and Cyrix MII. CPU clock multipliers are 1.5x up to 5.5x, with voltages of 1.8, 2.2, 2.7, 2.8, 2.9, 3.2, 3.3 and 3.5V.
Anandtech did a review when this board was released - it wasn't particularly favourable, with the board failing to provide a single USB port and overall stability in question.

ATC6631
Introduced: 1996 A-Trend dipped their toe into audio card technology in 1996 with the release of the ATC-6631. Based on the Yamaha YMF715, this provided Ad Lib, Sound Blaster, Sound Blaster Pro and 3D positional audio capability on a budget card. It is their version of the excellent Yamaha Audician 32 Plus, which I did a full review on. Some ATC-6631s are fitted with the YMF719E-S instead of the 715 - no material difference exists between these. Holes for an IDE interface connector are also visible - another sign of this being a budget / cost-reduced offering for the OEM market. As you can see from the image above, the card had provision for an onboard wavetable synthesizer in the form of the low-cost AdMos QDSP QS1000, though I've never come across a card with it populated. As with the majority of mid-90s sound cards, it does come with a wavetable header so you can alternatively install a wavetable daughterboard. More Images |

Like the ATC-6631, the card had provision for an onboard wavetable synthesizer in the form of the low-cost AdMos QDSP QS1000, though I've never come across a card with it populated.
